Now that No-shave November is over..

This is a thread encouraging all things which embrace manlitude. I've been on a 25 year or so PO hiatus, but I plan to hang around a bit more every now and then. That said, I present you the manliest third of the year. It goes as follows:

No-shave November- I can't blame you if you've already shaved. It's not your fault if you were uninformed. I myself shaved December first before I knew about...

Decembeard- Don't shave this month either. By the 31st, unless you're either me or a non-bearded lady, you've probably got quite a mountain man look to you. If not, there's always....

Januhairy & Febuhairy- BAM! A double dose of manliness! If you can make it through both of these months, no doubt you'll be more rugged than Action Hank! Of course, the real challenge comes with...

March (of the Beard)- This is the final month for your beard to run rampant. Let it go wild and fulfill all you're bearded fantasies, whether they be lumberjacking, pirating, or whatever, because by the end, he's gotta go. Unless you don't mind being utterly repulsive to the ladies, in which case, more power to you.

If any POs can make it all the way to March without shaving, I'd be thoroughly impressed. That said, pictures of beard progression would be a nice thing to have in here.

I'd love to partake in this, but the only facial hair I get is a few whiskers on my cheeks and a load on my chin, I resemble a cat like Shaggy (from Scobby Doo)

Longest I've gone is 2 weeks and it was still the same...

Chris, the last thing that I need is encouragement not to shave. Most of the time I need to truly persuade myself TO shave. Though shave is the wrong word. I really just trim because I already have a beard. Had one for a while now.
Anyway, I'd love to participate, but I've got to keep trimmed for work and for auditions. I definitely won't get any leading roles with a huge face rug. Unless he happens to be a lumberjack.

I'm not a fan of facial hair myself. Scratchy when he kisses and all that. I can tell you right now Shino will probably not be participating. At least, not if he wants to keep kissing moi.

I've seen my sweetie as a furry beastie and its not a pretty sight. I'm with Legend...the scratchy, prickly feeling just isn't fun for the ladies.

Although I can at least admit that a little level of scruff on him does look good...

True. *nods* Shino-sama's got the whole goatee+mustache going on, and it's certainly grown on me (I used to -hate- facial hair, but he looks cute with it.) but, yeah, more than what he's got and it's no fun at all.

My ex kinda had the Shino look. It wasn't really a big deal and it looked good on him too...some guys can just carry it off. Although I always wanted him to shave it off...just so I could see him w/o it. He never did.

My fiance however, would look stupid with that kind of facial hair. I was really bad once when I saw that he used to have a mustache...I laughed. He looks good with just the light furry...anything else and it really hurts! Especially during the winter when you've got the chapped lip thing goin on, Ouch!
