WOW, China, thats really impressive work. I mean thats one of the coolest chibifications Ive seen to date, period. Let us in on your secrets, what kind of paints did you use? Did you use an acryllic sealer? Did you go in with a plan or sketch the drawing on the ponies first? |

well i found a rehairing tool on EBay that made rehairing Doot REALLY easy, and quick. It also came in handy when i made Osiris's goatee. I could make the new holes for the hair, and stick the hair in all at the same time!! It was so exciting.
I used Acrylic paints. I went for store brand paints (on sale) at Blick Art Materials.
I used a Ceramcoat matte varnish for sealing the POnies. From what i found online it was the best thing to use so you could handle them.
Those are toothpicks painted red jabbed into Doots buns... My fingers were hurting for DAYS from styling her hair, but she is worth it =D <3
I had sketches done before I even decapitated the Bait Ponies.

I sketched the symbols on there tooshies when I was ready to paint them on (after I did there full body paint jobs). Osiris was originally pink, and Doot was White with Blue eyes. |
