Thats the business otakus - I gots me some promotion.

Beginning from the lowly position of "unloader" Daijaga slung packaged out of a half trailer for 4 monthes in the unrelenting heat of 05. By that christmas, he has crawled out of the trailers to loading the actual brown package cars you see around town.

From there it was a torrid affair of load and unload, heavy packages and light packeges, the very essence of good and evil.

... and then I got a promotion. This week Ill spend a couple hours away form my native Denison to take driver training classes in Sulpher Springs. A friend has generously allowed me the use of his laptop during the trip, so Ill probably permanently plugged in when Im not in class 8-5 during the week.

When I get back through, Im gonna be a full time driver. The oppertunity for a guy whos only worked at UPS for a year and a half to become a driver is crazy nuts. Im just lucky our coverage area has been expanding rapidly and that many of our drivers are getting older and nearing retirment age. The life style change in both my time available and disposble income will be hard for me to manage at first - I hope I can find a balance between finances and familiy in the middle of everything.

Anyway, Im glad that I always got you guys to fall back on when Im down, and I wanna thank everyone here for being a great friend even when if Im not as often as Id like. Things are gonna get crazy nuts for me so Im gonna try to see ya when I see ya guys. Peace!
