You could make an excuse for any platformer to be either Sonic or Mario with X item instead of coins/rings. Country's co-op was much more fun than either Sonic or Mario's. I remember back in the day playing through all the country games with my cousin. Lots of secrets, hidden areas, animal rides. Through to be fair I think Donkey Kong Country 2 was MUCH MUCH better the first one laid the groundwork for the sequel. |

Double posting to light the sucker up again. For good reason!
2 new consoles coming to the VC.
Neo Geo and MSX At least in Japan. Hopefully this will come here too.

Everyone would love to see more Nintendo 64 releases on Virtual Console, but as Nintendo trickles 'em out ever-so-tantalizingly, at least other publishers are looking for ways to exploit our wallet. On the company's Japanese website, it's been revealed the service will soon host titles that once appeared on both the MSX and Neo Geo.
Eggy and Aleste will be the premiere MSX titles on Virtual Console, both priced at 800 Wii Points a piece ($ . Neither has been confirmed for a US release, but we'd anticipate hearing something soon. As for Neo Geo, however, no titles have been announced. Please, lord of Nintendo, hear my prayer for King of the Monsters.

And in other Virtual Console news, Nintendo's updated the service with "Warp Zone," which contains trivia knowledge on the games featured. Simply click on the clearly sadistic smiley face on the main menu to investigate. |

Nintendo also announced that this Monday (the 26th) Ocarina of Time will go up at 12 EST/9am PST.
I'm the only one in the US that doesn't care about this but I figured I should pass it on. |

I don't care either...Zelda collectors disk how awesome you be.
Plus I didn't like the Nintendo 64 Zelda a little more than I don't like the Twilight Princess.
Zelda in 3D just never appeals to me for some reason.
