from IGN.com
March 27, 2007 - A sequel to the sublime Saturn classic NiGHTS may be more than just an idle fancy at this point. Swedish gaming magazine Game Reactor has posted a telling image of next month's cover on its website. The image in question originally featured the mystical jester NiGHTS himself over text that read "SEGA's Dream-devil returns."
Since the original publish, Game Reactor altered the image to be a silhouette of the character, rather than an outright picture of him, presumably at the request of SEGA who has yet to announce the game outright.
Though no platform was specified by the Game Reactor cover, a NiGHTS sequel appeared recently on a Japanese Wii release list. It's possible SEGA's new NiGHTS will be multi-platform.
NiGHTS remains one of the most beloved SEGA franchises, despite its relative obscurity. A sequel for the Wii would be almost too cool for hardcore SEGA fans to ignore.
IGN contacted SEGA for comment, but a spokesperson was not available at time of publish. |

But Scrum, your link has pictures!
If it does come to the Wii, I just hope that they use right control method. I hate that "hold it sideways and steer left/right" thing. They should make it work where you hold it like a pencil and just guide NiGHTS like that. I mean, make the Wiimote into the character you're controlling, it's so simple! |

I'm actually hoping, HOPING that the wiimote abilities play in very little. As awful as that sounds. I want them to use the same (or a similar) button combo system they used in the original. Maybe with some wiimote functions thrown in.

So what is Marmite? It sounds like a new Pokemon or a radioactive isotope used to create superheros or something. |

ROFL.
Not quite. !
It's hard to find in America, too. I don't think Americans like it very much. Which isn't surprising somehow. |
