I'll admit that I don't know much about the site yet, but this place-- http://shop.therainforestsite.com/store/site.do?siteId=221&link=Store_Header_THS_to_TRS
seems about the most fantastic thing I've ever seen. They sell everything from hummingbird feeders to clothing to backpacks and more. You can support the rainforest, or breast cancer, starving children, or animal rescues. And the prices aren't ridiculous. There are packages to help out animals/children/whatever cause directly (such as paying for a rescued horse's feed bill, or shoes for Afghanistan women or whatever) of course, but they also just have general store areas.
Does anyone have any information about this site? I'm stunned I haven't heard anything about it before, as it seems fantastic from what I've seen so far. |

wow, having just read more into it, some of the stuff u can do is amazing! heating a class room for a year sounds really cool, gonna look into doing a couple of bits next paycheck =) |

Oh yeah! I"d forgotten about the button.  You click the button and they send money to the charities helping out with Rainforest preservation. Pretty shiny if you ask me, and that one doesn't cost you a thing. |

This has definitely caught my attention...they even have the lucky cats that I love so much, but can never find. And the proceeds reserve a portion of the rainforrest! COOL!
This is so neat, you can shop around for cool items or support your particular interest all in one shot! I'm thinkin Christmas presents too! |
