Cancer, yes, is a badddd thing. And it's hard to deal with that knowing, if it weren't for that stupid disease, they'd be right by your side...I lost someone too. And it all stays bottled as a lump in your throat until you want to scream. ...Death is a hard thing. Fighting cancer is one of the main causes I support, because I know many survivors, I've lost someone dear to me, and I know that I'll have it. Breast cancer runs directly in my bloodline. :err: ...But keep faith. All things happen for a reason. Even death.

...As far as parent's go, I've had my share of troubles with them as well. Perhaps they're stressed out over your aunt? ...Try and be nice to them, they're people too. Even if they're treating you unfairly. It's okay to be mad. It's alright to be so steamed you want to burst...but *don't* take it out on them, even if they caused your anger. ...Chances are, they've got stuff on their mind. Go outside, away from your house...and scream your lungs out, or beat up a box. ^_^ Hey, it's what I do when I'm angry.

The important thing to remember is that life is going to be alright. It will all turn around. Choose everything wisely, and make sure to weigh out your choices with your parents. Me and Rhea* used to get into fights alot...but, it was because we were both quick tempered. I think she beat a little calmness into me. ^~ There's my two cents. Hope you can use it, and hope it all gets better for ya soon!

*Since your new, I'll go ahead and tell you, for future refrence or somthing. I call my mother Rhea and my father Scott. I live with my grandparents.

What you did right here is a good start hon. And while there is no way that simply talking can take away the loss, it can help you to cope with it. We hope joy returns to your life soon. But in the mean time, don't let yourself fall too far into the doledrums. Do stuff that makes you feel happy whenever you can bear it!

You have my condolences for your aunt. As for your parents, as Katana said, dont worry about it, all u have to do is give them breathing room as well, like everyone needs when something grave like this happens. The best thing to do is just talk with them for as long as possible. Being extra nice always helps too.

And Katana, dont feel that you will get cancer. Its all in your head. All you have to do is believe that you will not get it. Ive seen people who had a whole bloodline of cancer patients, not get cancer. Its all because they had the right state of mind. As long as you believe that you will not get cancer, and believe that with all your heart...you wont get it. Just relax about it.

And if something (god forbid) were to pop up, then just believe that you will get through it...without any problems whatsoever. Best example is my personal hero, Lance Armstrong. Great man, and it was all in his mentality that he was able to live through his ailments. All you gotta do is believe

Ah, Tobias. I don't think it'll *kill* me. ^~ No one in my family (that I know of ) has died from it yet! ^^ ...Or at least the sort i'll get. My grandmother is a survivor, yo. Her hair's just a little thinned out....

...but back to the point.

...I have boxes if you need them.

Well... my first piece of advice (and the easiest) is talk to your parents and figure out why they're getting mad at you. That'll help.
About your grandmother. I know how you feel. I've lost my share of older relatives that I felt close to. You just have to remember the good times and realize that she is in a better place. She doesn't have to deal with the pain anymore. Remember the good times, and not the times of loss. You'll be okay, I know it. And if you ever wanna talk about anything then just IM me or PM me, K?

And, as Randirion clearly illustrates friends can always help, too.
