Actually in all the prototypes we had... Shino = Doot pretty much.
This was something that we thought about a while back. Even had test sets and played test games with it.
Problem is that we had our hands in too many baskets. Right know we are focused on a couple of things. A card game is an idea that we are holding on too though. |

Ah, but what if your opponent has "Spellcheck" in play, which causes Shino to take no actions this turn. BWAHAHAHAHAhahaha... 
And it looks like you guys have though about this before, so I'm sorry if I kinda stepped on toes with this. But I would like to continue working on it, for creation's sake, even if you guys pick up on it again and have something completely different. |

I luff it!
I'm just a slow learner with these sort of games...but then again, a fresh game like this might be something I could pick up better than Magic... Poor Dloe's been trying to teach me that but my brain just doesn't pick it all up. I fail to see the fun in that game.
...but this one sounds awesome!
It would be SO cool to have a PO Deck...then be able to get "expansion packs" periodically when we'd get a flux of new members. |

This is something that I've worked on in the past with various teams, and more recently on my own, and that I feel strongly about actually getting completed at some point (I'm A TCG junkie). Nogrick has some great ideas, and I'd really love to see this project re-opened at some point...that is, of course, if the Powers That Be should grant the permission to do so...whether it gets worked on "officially" or behind the scenes so that it's ready to go when it's turn in line comes. |

How will you determine a PO's strength in relation to the others'? You could have an equal creation point system (the fairest, but neglects to address rank and file), go by seniority (in which case I'm totally sweet), or post count (not a good idea!), but there're gonna be some people made unhappy if their PO is weak.
Actually, I like the first and second ideas put together, where the older, bigger names just have very powerful abilities.

I think in my game, some of the abilities would make up for it. For example, I was thinking for Rev, he would play more defensively, since he's a priest and all, but he would have some good abilities (Mod Bless, Mod Thwack) and items (His Mace, I forget what it's named. That would be Ruler, and don't you forget it my good sir ~Rev w/Ruler  ) that would boost him. Or by having inherent abilities you could activate with Poku. Like for Nogrick, he's another defense character, but he's got an ability (Submission) that let's him take down his targets DEF by 50 per X Poku spent.
Or some people who have Familiars, like Sakura and Pickle, would get a boost when both are in play.
Besides, not everyone can be the super powerful card. Just like in a fighting game, everyone's got strengths and weaknesses, but it's how you use them that gets you the win.

Don't worry, that's why you can use "Teh Infected", which passes status changes to any one target. Use it wisely , Friend. |
