She lives in a hectic part of Cali, doesn't she? It's not like she has the need to burn rubber wherever she goes, she's basically just saying "No, I'd rather sit in traffic myself than chill and do stuff in the back of a limo while somebody else honks the horn."

I'm guessing like with many (not all) rich people she either got bored and wanted to do whatever she wanted, or got drunk then decided to do whatever she wanted.

maybe I'm slightly mean, though I dont think so, because I always learned that there are consequences to my actions, therefore if I know the consequences are going to be bad, I tend to not do the bad stuff. I think she needs to be humbled a little, to be perfectly honest.

I totally agree with that. What blows is that despite how much she deserves it, this sheriff that decided she needed to be taken out did something even more despicable. He gave her hope when she didn't need it. Not for serving out a small amount of safe jail time. This isn't so much a consequence of her doing, but rather this officer who got her thinking she could get out of the jail time.

For a person who was ready to accept punishment (even Paris did to some degree), being given hope is one of the cruelest things that can happen to you.

I agree, the sheriff was wrong in how he dealt with this whole situation. Knowing that hte judge had strictly forbidden her going on house arrest, instead of waiting to hear back from the judge ebcause of why she should be able to due to her medical condition, he acted on his own, superceding the judge.
