What you might not know about slavery

It really depends on the school. I remember in my high school we had a large amount of European history, and at least some Middle and Far Eastern history.

One thing that is remarkable is that there is still a thriing slave trade in the world. In Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia there is a fairly large and thriving slave trade that functions just below the radar.

I do agree however that a lot of the public primary and secondary school in the US are somewhat lacking in certain ways, and a lack of education is a big problem with the lower income section of our population.
