I saw them last Wednesday at the St. Pete Times Forum.
Words can't describe how much I was looking forward to this show. They haven't toured since '85 (I was 9 years old), so reuniting after 22 years was a pretty big deal. I grew up listening to the Police, but I was too young to go see them back then.
So seeing Sting, Andy Summers and Stuart Copeland rocking like nothing ever changed almost brought a tear to my eye. They sounded great for the most part. I had a little trouble hearing Andy's guitar work outside of his solos during many songs, but it wasn't horrible.
They played THREE encores.
One less thing I need to do before I can die happy. |

I agree. I'm thinking of springing for tickets for sometime in the fall when they're around NYC again. |
