What do you say to the stupidest people you could ever meet?

Nah. Sometimes you notice the signs and the things, other times you tune them out, or they're in a non-immediate locale. I've pulled that trick on people before, where they're looking for something, and are right by it, but don't see it until I point it out.

I do that a good bit myself...things tend to camoflauge themselves until someone points them out.

Let me tell you the joys of being a manager at Lowes

Customer: Ma'am, are you a manager?
Me: Yes I am, how may I help you?
Customer: I talked to so and so in plumbing, and can you believe they told me they dont have any of my product back there?! Can you look up and see if you have any?
Me: Yes maam i can ...but if they said they dont have any, chances are we dont.
Customer: well maybe a manager knows better....
Me: *looking it up on my inventory computer* No maam we dont have any of that and wont get any in until next week.
Customer:What the heck?! You people are all f***ing crazy!! Im going to Home Depot!!
Me: Im sorry for the inconvience...if you want to check back next week...
Customer: What kind of manager are you anyways?
Me: Im an administrative manager...i dont usually deal with sales..but im more than wililng to help anyone.
Customer: Well...youre just a useless manager...I want to speak to the store manager
Me: *calls the store manager over, he tells her the same thing@
Customer: I bet Home Depot will help me! *storms out, pushing a motorized cart around the parking lot with her car,and honks at it, like someone is in it*
Me: *proceeds to bang head on desk*

yeah...its rough...^_^ gotta love some retail.

If u think customers are stupid sometimes I guess I must have hit the jackpot with the idiots thatwalked in my old store.

I had one customer try one some noise cancelling earphones and ask me if I could hear him.

My store used to be called airport wireless, "hence the airport in the name which specifies that it is located in the airport." and I had a customer ask me where the airport was.

Once again, the name of the store is Airport Wireless, "hence the wireless implying electronics" and I had customers ask me if we sold polo shirts.

There has been more moronic encounters and I bet someone has some either as bad or worse. LOL

the main probs i have with customer service is outsourcing. if i wanted to talk to a f***ing Indian i would talk to one on campus. plus i too have an issue with microcenter and the commission staff. if asked do i need help i usually say "more than you can provide" or something similar since i should be able to find it myself or ask if need help. volunteering is interfering in my book. if "normal" people need help... I DON'T CARE! STAY AWAY!!! if i dont find what i want i will web shop from the store site. i dont need those humans... Dragon
