I'm sure he's got that covered. This isn't the first time he's published anything, and he does have proof he contacted J.K.'s agent and all that jazz. <3 Besides, I don't think J.K is the sort to be mussed over it much. She's got enough money as it is.

Not all the proceeds from the previous charity books she wrote went to the charity though, she earned some money from them.

Ok, so now Lupin and Tonks are dead...just because she says so?

If she's going to kill off ppl, at least tell us what happened...its like they were just afterthoughts to make it even worse...

Now Andromeda has to raise her grandson alone...

I felt precisely the same way, Fawkes. T_T I almost -missed- their deaths, and they're two of my favourite characters (the other being Fred, who died the chapter before.)

J.K is not my favourite person right now. ^_-

Snape at least had a more interesting one...

Edit:

I finished the book last night...those last 50 pages took forever with some of those long, drawn out scenes. The huge talk with Dumbledore seemed a bit much to me...

All in all, the ending was kind of Meh...and just off to me.

In general, the book was OK...but nothing spectacular...you could tell it was the last book b/c it seemed to really lack the effort and events going on. It felt like they spent the whole of the book just roaming from one campsite to another...

The explanation for Dumbledore's death was pretty good. I never really thought of his hand being a more mortal sort of wound. I just wonder how the story was really expected to end if Snape had lived...you can't honestly think Harry would not have put a snag in the plan at some point. Snape does not exactly strike someone as being all that honest, no matter what comes out of his mouth.

YAAAAYEE HARRY WON

My favorite scene was when the house elves came running out of the kitchens and started stabbing death eaters in the shins XD

And I agree about the deaths...I think the characters deserved more than that (instead of just, you know, Harry walking up and finding them dead), and I feel like she was killing people just to kill them. And I also agree with Fawkes--this book was kind of lacking.

But I think it was awesome that the "last battle" was in the school =D

*edit*
oh yeah, and I have a lot more respect for Snape now. X)!
