Minnesota bridge collapses

So yeah, a bridge in downtown Minnesota collapsed at around 6pm today. Dont worry, Im fine! Smile

But yeah, it's effed up stoof!

Right now there's only 35 wounded and 1 confirmed dead, still, it's pretty shocking that something like that could happened. Traffic was horrible, bumper to bumper and all those cars went down into the Mississippi river.

A lot is going on right now. This happened at around 15 miles from where I live, so it's relatively near.

I guess Ill update as I find stuff out.

Do any black people live in the area? Cause if any do I'm wondering why Al Sharpton hasn't blamed George Bush for blowing up the bridge yet. Razz

Now the real question is who will get sued? The City or the people that inspect the bridge to make sure things like this don't happen?

So, I just found out that one of the girls that works in my office had a friend that was under the bridge when it collapsed. And the scary thing of it all was that she was talking on the phone with her at the moment it collapse.

For what Ive heard, this is how the conversation went down.

Girl under the bridge: "Hmm that was weird...?!"
Girl from work: "What?"
Girl under the bridge: "UGH..." *phone hangs up*

Scary...

but she is very much physically ok, mentaly I'm not too sure yet.

Yeah. I would guess so too. Even though it would be traumatizing, she should remember that it couldve been worse. So, eventually she will be fine.

I guess the only thing I can say right now is that she needs to have her friends there for here. Ill pray for her too.

I know, i'm not going to tellher that tough, she knows it could have been much worse, or at least she says she does, I think she might start to feel worse before she feels better.

Well, you say that she might feel worse before she gets better.
I would say that that is the critical time when she needs people that care for her by her side so she doesnt get to bad. At least it would make me feel good knowing that I have people who care for me by my side when Im down, so I know Im not alone, you know.
