You probably haven't heard of Fire Pro Wrestling, but that doesn't lessen its importance. This series is to wrestling games in Japan what WWE games are here -- the king of the ring. Amazingly, though, the Fire Pro Wrestling series has only made its way to North America in the form of a obscure Game Boy Advance game.
Thankfully, Agetec has announced their intent to fix this curious misstep with the release of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for PlayStation 2. Agetec producer Mark Johnson remarked on the dilemma of bringing Fire Pro Wrestling to North America:
"We have been working for years to bring the Fire Pro series to North America. Now that we're finally cleared to publish the game, the real work begins. We're doing everything we can to make sure the game is translated successfully without taking away one iota from the gameplay that's made this Fire Pro a fan favorite."
Fire Pro Wrestling Returns will arrive for PS2s on this side of the world this holiday season. Prepare for your heel turn with 1UP's in-depth preview of the Japanese release. |

I would rather have had 6Men Scramble actually (yeah, like i get anything I want) but this is great news. My Kana is so bad I can barely read yes and No.

Does Fire Pro have a CAW, and is it any good.
I mean I have the ones for GBA, but the CAW was ok for appearances, but totally awesome for moves. At least I can give Noggy the Zanzibuster in that one. |

The CAW in FP was AWESOME, if you knew how to manipulate and tweak it. The league Razer ran where I played had some really good CAW designs.
Can't wait to get it and start messing around with it...in ENGLISH. No more binders of translations to deal with. |

I'm already getting ideas for new CAWs. I even plan on making a new tag-team called Papyrus and Lensflare...so I can whoop their asses DAILY!!
probably give Lensflare some kind of Stone Cold/Ace Stunner move and Papyrus something thats overused and very unimaginative.
