And there's always a need for teachers since our governor basically thinks the ones we have suck....a NY teacher would be a huge plus.

Wow. I haven't been on since I posted this thread. Here's an update....

Since Ming and I can't move down to Hotlanta just yet, I'm still looking for an apartment up here. I would prefer us to move to hotlanta after we get married, which won't be for a few more years....But that's another topic. Wink

Right now, I'm waiting on clearence to move into a breautifully new remodeled apartment in Larchmont, NY, which is a very expensive and posh area. It's a 1 bedroom apartment on the first half floor. The building allows pets, which is a huge plus for me, since I'll be getting a sweet lil pup soon! The apartment has brand new everything!! Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, marble floor in the bathroom, refinished hardwood floors through the whole apartment! It's just sooo beautiful and in a terrific neighborhood! The only drawback is that it's a little pricey, but I think I'm still going to take it. Just to give you all some prespective the 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment is...........$1300/month and that's with me talking them down from $1400!!! That doesn't include a parking space or central a/c!! But there is a washer and dryer unit in the building, thank god!

haha. I know some of you are cringing right now....lol. That's so normal up here, we're all used to it. It's sad.

Shino, what do you mean? This apartment is in a building.

Actually, I just went to see it one last time. I was approved to pay the lower $1300/month rent! Now, I just have to make sure that it works for m financially. It's kind of a lot steaper than my current rent, but with my car paid off, it's very doable. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to do it, but I just want to hear other peoples' last minute opinions, so start posting!!!!

He means-- the Washer/Dryer isn't in your actual rooms, just in the apartment building itself, right? You'll have to go outside of your rented area to wash clothes?
