Nashville is a very nice town. I was there for a few weeks because of work about 4 years ago. I swear it is like a conservative Hollywood with a southern accent, and everyone there is laid back and nice.

There is a huge amount of shopping and cuisine to be had there so you will have a blast. Also, like others have said, you are about 4-5 hours out to Atlanta.

But that means I do not have to pack all that many warm clothes.

I wouldn't say there's no winter. In TN you will most likely get Snow at least once, and the temps will get below freezing often enough. In Atlanta, we don't get snow that much. We usually have like 1 bad ICE storm a year, but that's about it.

I've actually made it in 3 1/2 Wink

I only drive 9 mph above the speed limit. Wink
Cops don't pull you over for that speed.

The 3 1/2 hour trip was kinda rushing it. Usually it's closer to 4. But still not bad

I'm not too fond of Tennessee. Good luck, though :D

Minus the fact that the clothes will fall apart within three weeks of you buying them. And were made by Chinese prison labor. XD

I have a few shirts from them that've lasted for a couple of years now at least...

Sorry to hear that, Chattanooga's a beautiful place. Tennessee's a great place to visit in the Fall with all the trees changing and the mountain views. The other branch of my family tree live there too!

I like Target for their prices and style of some clothes. I've really only had one wardrobe malfunction from them so far...and it was an epic one that I was thankfully near my house when it happened. Target's the only place I know of that sell Cherokee brand, that's an old, and very reliable brand of clothing.

I'm a sucker for their Mossimo t-shirts with all the colors and styles...I get those and dress them up to wear to work since we're WAY business casual in this building....its nice to be out of HQ.
