Jose, do you have your own opinion or do you just agree with everyone else's opinion?
I dont know why people get so mad at Gaaz for speaking his mind. Haven't you learned to not take him seriously? Plus where would we, as humanity, be without speaking our minds? Well, for sure I can say that native americans would still be living in here because brittish people wouldve been to afraid to revolt and say, "This place sucks! Let's go to America and kill buffaloes!" Or however that happened. |

Terin - The no complaining if you don't vote statements are pretty justified. Even if you don't like the primary candidates it would be easy to vote for a lesser or just write in a vote to show that you cared enough to voice your opinion. Whether it be Republican, Democratic, Green Party, Garfield or voting for the State of Confusion - YOU MADE THE EFFORT. Thus, earning your right to complain.
On topic - I don't think it necessarily is a problem with someone speaking their mind - it's accepting the fact that not everyone will always agree with you - it's a two way street. Mutual acceptance of the right to disagree. |

We have this one dude at work that has been speaking his own mind all week. What people need to undertsand is that there is time n places to do that. Example: the dude at work spoke his mind about everything and anything; therefore, making it uncomfortable for the other 11 ppl in training. At the end of the day no one could stand this person. It is understood that everybody is entitled to speak their mind because that is wut makes us unique; but at the same time when speaking ur mind u must be considerate of other opinions, u must account for the fact that once it becomes an argument was it really worth it?, and most importantly its all about how u speak ur mind. We can speak our mind freely without neccessarily beig pushy bout our opinions or disrespectful to anyone. The moment an opinion becomes a heated debate, an argument, or offensive to someone; that is the moment when the bigger person should back down. Remember that not all opinions will be right no matter how right they might seem to the person expressing them. In the end u just have to know when to express urself and when to sit back and let ppl do the same.
Aiman, that is my opinion. LOL |

I never thought I'd meet someone blunter than Dloe till I met Gaaz.
But that's OK. Some ppl take time to get used to and you have to learn how to interpret what they're saying and understand that they're not saying something to be hurtful, they just get right to the point.
I learned a long time ago...with practice and time, that what comes out of Dloe's mouth is not to be meant literally, but just lacks tact and all the fluffy stuff that keeps ppl from looking at you funny when you voice an opinion.
I guess that ppl have a problem with Gaaz b/c his delivery is just too direct. I'm actually looking forward to meeting with you again...@AWA... to see how you really are in person.
You've never said anything that's offended me...and if you do, I'm not afraid to let you know. |

This is why I gave up on the whole internet debate thing, just a waste of time when someone is set on their opinion
But in a perfect world we would only deal in facts, however opinions do serve the purposes of giving us a psychological base in society. Without them we would be unable to function entirely |

Opinions aren't bad. They make who we are. If we were only factual, we'd be pretty boring.
Likewise, no one likes someone Shoving opinions in their faces. I get it one too many times...i was never the one to argue back, but lately, i get defensive about things.
What i have to say about my experiences: I enjoy listening to everyone's opinion, because honestly, i have no friggen clue about the world. That's just my view though. Everyone pretty much said what I wanted to say. |
