I thought this story was really ridiculous...

Apparently, a McDonald's worker spilled salt on some burgers, which got served anyway. A cop ate one, claimed it made him sick, and arrested the girl (after questioning her, of course). Now she faces potential criminal charges.
Now, I'm not saying that she was right to serve the burgers anyway. And I'm not condoning the way the situation was handled by the managers. But seriously, WTF is that cop's problem? Isn't questioning and arresting someone because your burger sucked going just a BIT too far? And why the hell would you eat the burger anyway if it clearly tasted like salt was dumped on it?

XDDDDDDDDDDD somehow it doesn't surprise me that it's a GA cop, particularly in a smaller/unknown sort of city like Union City is. 
That poor girl. I'm sure she'll be let off all charges, though. And then she can file for harassment. |

He's probably using the rational that she intentional put an excess of salt on the burgers to make the customers (ex. the cop) sick.
But yeah, pretty ridiculous. Sickening use of power. |

This is just ridiculous...If you get bad food, you either don't eat it, or you take it back and complain. It was an accident, its not like she spit in it, or did anything else to it on purpose.
Gotta love how her supervisor was aware of it but didn' t do anything about it. Even though she was the one who oversalted the meat, it was her boss's call to still serve it. She would have prolly been fired if she had opted on her own to throw it out.

WELCOME TO METRO ATL! the cops are always looking for a way to put the blacks away here or just get rid of the annoying ones. the fact she told the management and coworker about it before this and nothing was done just shows that they did not care. no reason for charges to be filed unless she resisted being arrested, intentionally did this, or was annoying to the officer. i am sure if he had just came in to exchange it for a new one they woulda given him a new one. i saw this over the weekend and was not surprised at all. money on a white cop! also seeing her friends speaking up for her, i lost half the sympathy i had for her. i want to say my full response but i would have doot pm'ing me again for going too far....so this will do for now. |
