You are absolutely entitled to do what YOU want. It was your choice to branch out and move out. You sound like a responsible person who didn't just drop this on her either. She just needs to get busy and find a new roomate if she can't cut it on her own. |

Hehe. You know, I have only lived with 3 people and they all ended horribly. The 1st roommate I had was Simply Jose in the forum. Had to move out because he was being a bitch. Yeah, I said, you were a bitch! Cuz he would decided to clean when I wasnt around the house and then tell me I didnt do anything. We used to work in the same place, but when spent the whole day standing at a cash register, I spent most of the day outside in the sun rounding up carts. So yeah...
Second roommate asked me to move to MN and we lived together for a while. We got along great, but his gf and I didnt get along all the time. He loved to see us fight though. Then they broke up, then they got back together again then he moved to LA and I made him pay the last 4 months of rent and I got someone else to cover his part of rent too. He agreed for skipping out on the lease.
Third person I lived with was my xgf and yes, that ended horribly too. We broke up and bah... I dont even want to talk about that bitch.
So in all... you're better off living by yourself and if you get or have a boyfriend, it's alright that he would stay over or vice-versa, but not a good idea to live together until you are ready to get married!

Dloe and I live together which made sense since he spent most of his time at my house anyhow...we just made the mistake of not really getting all of my stuff squared away before he moved all his stuff in...so the house looks like a tornado hit.
So, that's my bit of advice to a perma-roomie. Make sure you have all of your own stuff in its place before you have someone else...and all their stuff move in.
One of these days I'll have a clean and organized house...one day. |

You already know my advice: Shelves... Lots of shelves.
Also, Kyle has forgotten any and all bills I may or may not owe him for the last 3 months of my ordeal as his roommate. The fact he's a stoner who has a parent pay all his expenses definitely contributes to that. |

More e-mails were sent and she just kept getting nastier and nastier. In the end, I didn't say much as I tried to take the higher ground, but I didn't budge. All in all, I lost a friend that I thought I like, but ended up hating. Oh well. Good thing I have a bunch of awesome friends!! |
