I'm sure some of you are aware that yesterday Adult Swim released a CD by Dethklok, the band from Metalocalypse, called The Dethalbum.
The only problem is...I can't find it ANYWHERE. I went to 2 Borders, a Best Buy, and a Target yesterday and didn't find it in either. There was a space on the shelf at Target for it, but there were no copies left. I even had UP look in her Best Buy...and nothing. The store's computer said they had it, but they couldn't find it.
I guess I could try ordering it online, as it seems to be available in all the usual places, however I can't find the Limited Edition, 2-disc version online, which is the version that I want to get.
Does anyone have any info? I'm going to go out at lunch and try a few more places.. |

They may just have had a delay in shipment/supply. Surprisingly Amazon.com doesn't have it in stock either so I'm thinking it's a supply side goof. |

At lunch I checked another Best Buy, Circuit City, Barnes and Noble, and even a supermarket that happens to carry a small selection of CDs....and nothing.
I checked on the Adult Swim message boards, and a lot of people seem to be having trouble finding the Deluxe edition. I read some rumor that Hot Topic is carrying it. I'll probably take a ride to the mall to check it out after work. I wish I could just order it online, but sadly no place seems to have the Deluxe edition.
This is some horrendous distribution error, or the most brutal hoax ever conceived. |

Well...I finally found some copies of the album, but sadly only the regular version. The Limited Edition ended up being very limited. A few stores that I had called mentioned that they had only gotten a few copies of the regular album, and only like 1-2 of the Limited Edition, which sold out very quickly.
Oh well, the album is still insanely awesome. Totally, completely BRUTAL... |

I was highly amused with Dethklok's previous album, and this one sounds good as well, so I might venture out to find some copies.
I'll see how my luck is, but I know a few strange record stores that would probably order a good number. Though I'm not quite sure how the distribution to smaller stores goes. |

...Why yes, it did break, but not because of mai veggies. That's embarrassing. I'm talking about the same band and same album, but for some reason "pre-released songs" translated itself into "previous albums" in my brain.
Aaand now I'm looking forward to the songs that haven't been pre-released. And will probably end up with the Deluxe Edition eventually if just for the Coffee Jingle.
Do you folks like coffee??

Good luck finding it. There's 3 "New and Used" on Amazon, the cheapest being $185. There's also a lot on eBay that, last I checked, were all in the $50-60 range.
If anyone has the Deluxe album, I'll gladly reward you handsomely for a copy of the bonus disc... |

I'm not silly enough to go online. I was going to check stores like Hot Topic and Karma.
It's unlikely, but I'm willing to wait as they're releasing more.
