Especially after last night which is officially the best night of bowling I have ever had.
And I'm super happy about it so you guys are going to hear about it. 
It started out pretty damn good... my first game I shot a 196. Threw a freakin' "gutter then spare" off of 2 strikes... and missed my second strike in the 10th. Either one of those could have put me over 200.
The second game... Same old Shino. Shoot a good game, come back with a crappy game. But it wasn't as bad as last week's 138. I shot a 152.
3rd game didn't start out too well. 1st ball, slipped off my thumb and hit an 8 count... then I missed the spare. I was pretty pissed. Next frame.. strike. Next frame... first ball slipped off my thumb AGAIN and got a 9 count. Annoyed as hell, I grabbed my towel and vigorously cleaned out the thumb hole and picked up the spare. From then on, each frame I cleaned out the thumb hole. The result...
9 straight strikes and a 259.
Resulting in a 607 series. My first time breaking 600!
So... there were 3 new personal bests for me...
highest game: 259 (previously 256)
Highest series: 607 (previously 586)
Best string: 9 (previously 6)
My average shot up from a 173 to a 179. Another personal best for me!
I bowl with O'Duffer (Dean Maloney on the pictures) who is easily a 200+ average bowler. He's helped me A TON! In 5 weeks, I have 4 200+ games and my highest average in previous leagues was around 166.

Thanks man. I was in that 130s area too for a long time. Then I had a couple of friends teach me how to shoot with a hook...
It's been a slow road up to now. |

Thanks guys. This is the first time I've been on a league since 2003 or so. It's been a while. And I've missed it a lot
I'm just excited to be bowling again. This is the second really good night I've had in the 5 weeks so far. The first one I shot the previous high series of 586. I called Legend when I was leaving just flipping out b/c I was so excited. |

Wow, good shooting, Shino. I was pleased when I threw a 175+/150+/175+ series, because normally I hang around 120-140. Must have been a good ball I chose that day. Still, that 259 is quite impressive. |

That's pretty good man. Learning to shoot a hook and getting your own stuff will shoot you up to the 150 to 160 area.
After that, timing is the big thing. Also... learning not to "muscle" the ball down there. |

Yeah. I probably have learned a lot about good technique, I just don't have any hook, so on occasion, one of those pins just stands up and thpbbbbbth's at me. |

I must admit, I'm quite the bowling fan myself (I always keep my ball and shoes in my trunk)
