I don't know. Honestly he seems like a really smart guy, I don't know if it would be too terrible. |

Honestly it would probably be fine. Bush barely graduated from college...and you can see the results lol.
But I digress as the president you have so many advisors and aids, his decisions would be perfectly fine.
The only thing I would worry about is how he would act when viseting other countries...it could either win back some allies, or piss them off lol |

There was an election in Brazil some years ago where one of the candidates was a chimpanzee. The campaign slogan was "Vote monkey, get monkey". The monkey came in 3rd with 400,000 votes. Never under estimate the monkey.
I'm currently readin Stephen Colbert, I am America (And You Can Too). As a big fan of his show and not such a big fan of any other candidate I'd probably vote for him too. As for how serious he is, I can't say. It's so hard to tell when he's being serious. I'd love to see him at one of those booring debates! |

I would have to agree with this. Although I was talking with Washutaku about it, and he's of the opinion that Colbert is going to steal votes from the Democrats and might even cause the Republicans to win. That is, if he gets past the primaries X)! |

The way I understand it he is trying to run under one of the major parties...probably as a Democrat. So if he makes it past the primary he will be the democratic candidate hence he cannot steal votes from them.
I am pretty sure thats why he isn't running green party. |

He is indeed. Although, he made it clear on "Meet the Press" last night that he doesn't want to be president. He merely wants to run for president. Basically he is just doing this to prove that you don't have to be a career politician to run for office, that any joe-shmo that thinks he/she can do the job has the ability to run. All he wants is to get on the ballot. He said that he will consider it a victory if he gets on the ballot and people have the option of voting for him. That is why he's only running in South Carolina as opposed to making a nation-wide bid for the White House.
Having heard that I no longer consider his running just another hilarious stunt from Comedy Central, but I actually admire the fact that he's doing this to show others that it can be done. Good for you Stephen Colbert, and good luck! |

But seriously I really like that Colbert is running just to prove that anyone can. |
