I bet you, that with the right marketing and a good hype, you could sell rat droppings to rich people as a delicacy. And they would pay top dollar for it. This goes with my theory that rich people will pay money for anything that's "trendy". |

Did anyone ever read Haunted? There's a woman in there who is filthy filthy rich and is telling the story of how a bunch of other filthy rich people are living like hobos voluntarily. Because it's trendy. Now, Mr. Palahniuk of course throws in more details, but I won't recount them here.
I mean, rotten eggs are a delicacy. Fish eyes. But I've never heard of a type of feces being a delicacy.

That is the beauty of the idea! Make it a rich trend to eat rat feces, come up with some BS certification process to lock out competetors, bribe some disgruntled scientists to come up with some fake health benifits, and harvest the stupid and elitism like a rich golden wheat field.
This sounds better than the Jewish Deli in Tokyo idea I had! |
