Steve McLaren out! PLEASE!!!!!

You guys probably aren;t bothered about this, but the England football team have been a shambles recently, and while you can say the squads not performing, its upto the manager, Steve McClaren, to get them performing again, which he just isn't doing.

We managed a 3-0 win against Andorra last night, but only thanks to Steven Gerrard, the rest of the team played god awful, I'm not sure wha John Terry's upto but he's not as vocal on the pitch as a captain should be, odd because he is for Chelsea.

We need a manager who knows what he's doing (McClarens only success is to lead Middlesbrough to a UEFA Cup Final and then lose it 3-0), and doesn't just spout aload of cookie cutter answers to the press.

Lampard needed axing from the team as he's not performing, which was done last night, but only because he'd injured his wrist! Rooney hasn't performed to standard for three years, wether thats because of poor service or not isn't the point, givre someone else a chance, Defoe has been having some great games at club level but very rarely even seems to get given 10 minutes on the pitch when it comes to international games. We're still playing right footed players out on the left, Joe Cole can get away with it as he's an incredibly versatile player, but the likes of say Dyer or Lennon aren't and need to be kept in their natural positions, and its not like we don't have smoe left footed players who would greatly improve on the international stage, players like Barry, Downing and Richardson need to be given a bigger chance.

We also need a manager with balls, if you're in a 0-0 draw after 65 minutes, you don't bring on a player that plays the exact same position as the player you're taking off, years of Football/Championship Manager have tought me that! Instead you change the shape of the team, catch the opposition off guard, mix things up a bit, bring on a player that they weren't expecting you to do so, yet this is something McClaren doesn't do, and Erikkson was guilty of the same thing before him!

Thats the biggest mistake of them all, McClaren spent too much time working alongside Erikkson so his management style is exactly the same, although theres two differences, McClaren is too afraid of his players, and Erikkson seemed to have a certain element of luck and got things working and got results, even though our performances were dire!

Sorry to hear about all this...I feel ya, being that we tend to have hit or miss sports teams in Georgia...

Hawks, Thrashers, and Falcons...then there's the Braves.

Even UGA has gone down since their bigtime players graduated.

Finding the right coaches and managers will take some time though. It sounds they need to do some major house-cleaning over there.

Well allt he Football Association had to do was be patient *(this is the national soccer team btw, eurgh "soccer" ) we were all set to get the guy who's currently in charge of the Portugal national team once last years World Cup was over, but they wouldnt hold out on him signing a contract and wanted someone ready and waiting to take Sven's place when he stepped down after the World Cup, so they employed his second in command even though theres far better managers in England without them having to consider the guy that was making them wait. Sam Allardyce being one, but they oviously didn't want someone who was willing to stand up to their demands.

The England team has become a huge merchadising machine, you can buy replica shirts with players names and numbers ready printed on the back rather than having to request them, so you can walk into any sports store and actually choose a shirt with Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney or whoever on the back, this to me sounds like these guys are garunteed they're places in the squad no matter what they're form at domestic level.

We have a great bunch of players, some of which don't get picked who should do, yet we stick with the same team every time a game comes up, with the same tactics and theres no variation or plan B, if the FA don't do something, which they wont, we wont qualify for next years European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.

The morons gone! Far far too late I might add and due to this we've failed to qualify for the European Championships.

Anyhow, the blame doesn't just lie with him, theres so much wrong with English football at the moment, and it has just become about the money so its no suprise the countries national team is in the situation its in.

It shows how much the FA care about money when they decide to host an NFL match during one of the countries wettest months at the national stadium which has recieved criticsm since it opened in May for having a pitch thats not worthy of international football...
