If Konami uses ALL the disk space a PS3 has to offer clocking in at around 25 GB on a Single Layer disc and 15 GB on an HD DVD disc which I have yet to see them use. I think the 360 can only read Dual layer DVD's (8.5 GB) and the HD attachment reads the HD DVD's. I base this on the fact that Blue dragon was released on 3 DL DVD's instead of using one HD DVD and one DL DVD. Also, I've burned multiple games of theirs and they haven't gotten over 7.5 GB.
So, basically, if 360 tried to do MGS4 providing Konami uses as much of the 25 GB available to them they would need to use 3-4 DL DVD's for their game...Which is pretty ghey IMO. |

You are correct Gaaz.
The HDDVD player for the 360 only plays movies. No games will be released on the format.
So yes... MGS4 would be ... probably ... on 4 DVDs. I say 4 b/c there would be some duplication required on each DVD |

That gameplay demo is freakin' sweet. Looks like there's going to be a lot to learn about Metal Gear Solid 4. And, to some degree, it looks like Snake has a lot more freedom to do things whatever way the player wants without seriously negative consequences. (Unless that's just been a Metal Gear Solid thing.) |

Somehow, I don't want to believe THAT particular report (then again, I know nothing about the site or how accurate their rumors have been in the past). But at the same time, I would not be surprised what so ever if/when it happens. |

Sure it might go to 360...However it will go to it what like 1.5 years after PS3 gets it?
Granted it might not...MGS3 never made it to the Xbox. |

I reckon if it does make it to the 360, it'll be in a similar manner to how MGS2 did, with the "Substance" package.
Besides, I've never heard of this site, and I'km not saying thats a be all and end all, but what "better" way to drum up traffic than to say you have confirmation that a highly anticipated single format game is going multiformat?
They'll say in a months time that they've played it too  |

It's just a rumor right now. There has been no official announcement that it is not PS3 exclusive.
Xbox fanboys are reaching for the last big exclusive on PS3 b/c they want to rub it in PS3 owners' faces.
I put no validity in any of these rumors until I hear either Microsoft or Konami come out and say... "It's going to be on 360." Until then... it's PS3 Exclusive. |
