I’ve signed up as a volunteer “Friend of the Strand” and offered to pass the word on. We have an old theater on our town square that is getting restored and found out there is a benefit concert on February 23rd to raise money to complete reparations.

I’m not going to hassle you and there’s no pressure, but if you are interested the info is below.

“We need your support of this benefit concert for the Strand. The tickets are only $10.00 with all proceeds going to restoring the Strand. Cowboys in Kennesaw is offering their facility at NO charge. The concert will be from 8pm to 9:30pm on Saturday evening, February 23rd.

The PARADOCS are a local group of physicians who sing in the Lettermen and Beach Boys style. They have wanted to do something for the Strand for a long time."

Let me know via PM if you are interested and I'll give you the payment info (as it's a personal snail mail of the chair person of the benefit/event coordination and I don't want to just post it on the intarweb)

you know that sounds fun...i just want them to finish reworking the Strand so i can finally see what the place is like and maybe the square might have half decent parking since3 more spaces will be open.
