Just Outside of Town

*Standing in a Field*

*Crickets are chirping*

*Thinks about going somewhere... finds self up for suggestions...*

*trips and falls*

*gets up and skates away toward the forest....*

*walking through the woods*
*chuckles to self about falling girl*
*continues walking through woods*

[BK]

*BK and Madra step into the woods just outside of town. As Madra goes sniffing around from tree to tree BK sits down, leaning against a fairly broad trunk*
"I'm not sure what we'll find in this town, Madra, but I get the feeling it will be worth sticking around for."

*He, then, slowly started nodding off*

[Akuko]

*gasping and wheezing, a large leopard lumbers out of the trees. her fur is bloody from a battle that she surely had lost. There were deep cuts all across her body that were half scabbed over and her breathing was very labored.

*Suddenly she collapsed, emitted a soft "mew" as her eyes rolled back into her head, and passed out on the ground*

[Akuko]

*Akuko roused a few hours later, still weakened and shifted to her human form. Slowly and unsteadily she rose, still cut and bruised and walked towards the Inn in hopes of a safe place to sleep and heal*

[BK]

*BK slowly wakes up and his eyes wearily shift around the blurred surroundings*

"Mmmm-Madra? I slept too long again."

*as his eyes come into focus, he notices the patch of blood near by and the trail leading back to town*

"I really need to be more careful where I fall asleep; and why didn't you wake me when the commotion passed, Rua?"

*he stands up, checking the pocket of his sweatshirt in the process*

"Check the area, Rua, we don't want to be followed by whatever caused this; and be careful, old friend, I'm out of anything useful."

[BK]

*after a quick search of the immediate area and examining the blood on the grass, BK picks up Madra and turns towards town*

"I was hoping to avoid any conflict here..."

*he casts Demon Speed and takes off, following the trail of blood*
