First... Dammit I hate F'in friend codes. Nintendo = stupid!

I thought I was excited about this game, but I had it in my hand yesterday, along with a 10% off coupon... and I just didn't have that desire... so I put it back.

Oh well. I'll probably get it eventually.

I think it's totally worth it.

I did some online brawling last night with a friend of mine, had a lot of fun.

Now, somethings that annoy me.

They got rid of the Bonus matches. The ones where it didn't matter how many KOs you had, but the points score overall of all the bonuses you got throughout the match. They got rid of the Bonuses too!

I can't seem to find the Smash service nor the Spectator mode.

I swear I read somewhere that all modes would be playable online.

Anyway, I still like the game and I am totally impressed that the Adventure mode is at least 8 hours long. I am clocking 7 and a half and I am still in the last maze. For some reason, I don't have Sonic yet, so I am missing something.

Shino, I am ashamed for you.

I picked up mine (reserved) at Toys R Us and then even got sucked into their "50% off if you buy Smash Bros" promo so I picked up Zack & Wiki. It was either that or Sonic/Mario Olympics but I've read everywhere that Zack & Wiki is truly great tho underrated like so many other gems.

I love good games.

Razer... you did make the right choice on that one.

I don't know... I know I'm going to buy it... but right now, it's just not a priority. I have too many other games to finish up.

Finished up Resistance:FoM yesterday.
Working on Devil May Cry 4 right now and I still have Burnout, No More Heroes and Folklore

Thanks for spoiling it for the rest of us! XD

I'm still in the giant maze.

Oh pssh.... as if you didn't already know from reading this thread.

The Giant Maze is almost like a sub-mode of it's own...so long...
You're not missing anything, just go ahead and beat the maze. You can still replay levels after you beat it.

I didn't know Star Wolf was in the game... Shocked

Anyway, I am pissed off... I found this.

And I am not showing the options! It fucking sucks! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!

Called Nintendo about this issue. They said that the way to fix it is to delete your saved file and restart. Sad

ouch

As a side note, I don't like the way the friend codes work. You have to have the person registered in your Smash Bros game AND your Wii address book. NBow I have Aiman registered in both but it's still "waiting to register" in my game. maybe you haven't added me or something Aiman, but I know I have you in both. The difference is that i think I have you as AimanKnight in my address book but the game only gives you five letters to work with (stupid move, Nin). I hope I can figure out a way to get this working.

Oh, maybe I have to delete my Wii system memory and start over.

just kidding.

You DO NOT have to delete your save file according to Nintendo the options appear 24 hrs after you have first connected.

How to use "Spectator Mode"

"Spectator Mode" lets players view random, previously-played online matches. Spectators can bet coins on the outcome of the match.

Important: The Spectator Mode option will appear 24 hours after you have connected to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the first time. If you don't see this mode listed, wait 24 hours and then check again.

How to access "Spectator Mode":

1. From the Main Menu of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, use the Control Pad and A/a or 2 Button to select "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection."
2. When you are asked if you want to connect, select "Yes."
3. Select the "With Anyone" icon, then choose "Spectator Mode."

If "Spectator Mode" does not appear, 24 hours may not have passed since you first connected to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Wait until the 24 hours have passed, and then check again.

4. Adjust the coins you wish to bet on the winning team. When the timer runs down, the replay of the match will begin.

So why hasn't anyone except me and Aiman listed any friend codes?

Yeah, three days in a row and I didn't get the spectator mode, and I didn't have the options menu on the WiFi main menu either.

So yeah, I deleted my file. Sad *sniffle* And I got the missing options when I did.

Razer, delete that code I posted before. I will PM you my new code today when I get home. And I'll post the new code then too. I'm almost back to where I was before. Took me 3 and half hours skipping all the movies. So, I guess it's alright.

To the people who get the game before us, some advice!

Before you do ANYTHING in the game, connect to WiFi and get your friend code. If you're missing any features, like I was, delete your file and start over. That will put the features back and will save you the pain and trouble of starting over. Sad

Oooo... Screenshots Gallore!

Ok, for those who have the game and keep taking screenshots to try and share, know that the screen is saved in a .bin file.

No worries! All you have to do is click here and download the software bin2jpg. Then unzip the files, and put the screenshot.bin in the same folder as the unzipped files. Then run the .bat file and the software will take care of the rest.

Works like a charm. I just saw some pics that Razer sent me of his playing with Pokémon Trainer (Ash).
