Somehow i forgot to post in this quiz...I actually came out neutral.
It makes pretty good sense though...although I was born and raised in Atlanta, account managers tell me all the time that I don't have an accent...and i really dont unless I'm angry, tired, or been drinking.  |

I got Midland, even though that's not what I've been told in the past. In fact, while I was working at the phone company one of the reasons they kept me in the queues for calls from the south was because I was the least likely to sound like I was in New England. I sounded like I was local to them.
Just because I can say some words properly doesn't mean the accent isn't there. LOL |

My Results:
Neutral You`re not Northern, Southern, or Western, you`re just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don`t really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up.
I'm not American, but I've lived all over the place. Well, not ever in America... Hmmm. |

Northern You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for. |
