With you there, BWS. Even without organized sport, college students would form clubs and sport organizations. Witness Ultimate Frisbee for that. But scholarships based on athletic ability do often seem to be head-scratchers in terms of academic missions. In terms of revenue for the school, though, they're no-brainers. |
