Well that really depends on if the game sucks or not. i would counter with they are releasing it with enough time for people to get invested in it and less likely to go back to WoW.
Honestly my interest in WoW has been waning its to gimmicky, one of the last straws for my was this gay ass spirit of competition. Its like rather than make a good game they just put all this ADD crap in it. |

WoW has become a gear grind. In the end that's all it is. You grind for mats to make your CRAFTED EPIC LOOTZ! You run your raids TO GET YOUR EPIC GAER! You PvP TO GET UR WELFAER EPIX!!! You know when WotLK comes out, that's all it will be.
Screw all that. Lemme at WAR.

honestly, aren't all of these games GEAR GRINDS? I mean, thats why people get so invested in these games, to level up to the highest level, then make their character the strongest out of all, by getting the gear that suites them, or by getting the gear that will customize their character the most.
Now, granted, there are people that do enjoy roleplaying out in WOW land, Im on one of those servers (Moon Guard, for anyone who wants to know), but in reality, when the people on those servers arent RPing, they are probably leveling and then trying to get the equipment to turn their character into exactly what they want.
In summation: The biggest aspect of all of these games, and the games before it (in my humnble opinion), are the customization of the gear that one can aquire, and therefore the customization of the characters as a whole. It isn't like a console game, wherein we are capable of achieving all of the storytelling aspects. God knows, i enjoy the story of WoW just as much as any other story driven game, but in actuality, all games that are MMOs generally are gear/Level grinds. |

Well, I'm playing this. Right now we're in the Collector's Edition Head Start.

If I'm not mistaken, Isle of the Dead for renamed because that's where we were in Beta.
We tried Skull Throne and that place was way too full. So we did Vortex. |
