Black Forest - First chance to do a little Role Playing

[Shino]

OK here goes... going to try to jump start our first Scenario. Hope you guys decide to join in.

It's midafternoon. Shino is traveling to his next destination. He leaves the pub and starts across the Pocketo Plains. About a half hour after starting his journey, he notices it getting darker and darker.

"But it's only mid afternoon," he thinks to himself.

He notices a strange forest in front of him. The sky is getting darker and darker as he approaches it.

"Is this the feared Black Forest I overheard them speaking of at the pub? Figures it would be my luck that my path passes right through it."

The forest ahead of him is dead. There are no sounds at all. No crickets, no wind, nothing, just the image of death. All of the trees are dead. He slowly ventures into the forest. He doesn't even make it 100 yards when his first challenge jumps out from the trees. It's a hungry CROUS (Crazy Raccoon of Unusual Size ).

It swings its tail around to attack Shino. He ducks and the CROUS' tail hits one of the dead trees to Shino's left. A large branch on the tree falls and lands in front of Shino, knocking him backwards on the ground. He reaches behind him and pulls out his "GunKlone" and fires it repeatedly at the creature. He can see a dark figure on the back of the CROUS, which turns tail and runs.

"You will never retrieve the others!" screamed the figure as they vanished into the darkness.

Shino picks himself up and decided that he cannot handle this on his own, but he is now determined to find out what "others" the figure was speaking of. He ventures back to the pub hoping to find other Otaku Fighters to help him.

After returning to the pub, he tells his story, hoping that someone can help him sort out the details of what had happened. Being new to the area, he knows little about this forest or these "others."

Leaning on Shino's shoulder, Damion decides to accompany him...in hopes of finding either a cure for his imminent hangover or more and exocit things to drink...

[Azurel]

"I'm coming too."

Rayne gives Damion a scornful look before turning to Shino,

"A giant forest of darkness, sounds like my kinda place, i should be able to help you."

Rayne thinks to himself,
And if there is a dark force there, I will capture it and become stronger
Rayne grabs a few bottles of whiskey to accompany him on the journey.

[Sakura]

"SHINO!!!!!! I am not letting you go, until I find my sister. I hafta come along!"

She runs up to them and looks at the other two, "Uh, hi!?" She blinks and looks at Shino, "Ok? I'm gonna keep bugging you until then!"

[Sekani]

"You have not spoken of any fair maidens on this voyage of yours. You ain't say nothin' 'bout no wimmin either. I care not to risk life and limb on some pointless endeavour. I ain't gettin' killt fo' yo' ass either. Return to me when your information proves to be more interesting. And bring me back some honeys, dawg."

[Shino]

Shino looks at the 5 fighters infront of him.

"Damion, Rayne, I thank you for putting aside your differences to acompany me on my quest. But I request that you keep your differences aside. If a you begin to fight, I may help one of you, I may leave you both behind. That is something that I will decide if and when it happens. Oh and here," Shino tosses a small box at Damion, "These are magic anti hangover pills. Hold on to them just in case."

"Sakura, thank you for acompanying me, also. I will help you find your sister. I too am on a quest to find her. By the way, no :cuddle: with Spike. ::"

"Sekani, your selfishness makes me want to vomit. I don't know who these 'others' are, but if there are innocent chibi being held against their will, I plan on doing everything in my power to free them. By the way, some of them might be chicks."

"Let us wait until morning. That will give us time to rest before our journey and it will also give other fighters a chance to join us. These large racoons don't look like pushovers."

Shino grabed a table and a and awaited morning.

[Sakura]

-Sakura has a conflict with Koneko on the way to the bar to await the morning and comes running in crying, holding the small bear in her hands-

Rayne opens a portal, as he steps through, he closes the portal behind him. On the other side is a giant fluffy bed with feathers bursting from the seam. Rayne lies down and sleeps till morning.

Damion, content not to show off the way RAYNE DID, falls over, unconsious, on the floor...

[Shino]

Shino lifts his head from the table

*yawn*

He reaches across the table and shakes Sakura.

"Wake up. It's time to get moving," he says to her as he lays a box of strawberry pocky in front of her.

He moves out his chair and it hits something. He turns around and Damion is laying on the floor behind him, and... the chair just hit him in the head.

"OH, sorry about that. Didn't realize you were there. Ummm... sleep well?"

Shino searches around the room... "Where is Rayne?"

Shino shrugs and walks over to the bar keep.

"Do you guys sell and breakfast foods?" Shino asks thinking there is no possible way this bar had food.

"Of course we do," replies the barkeep, "what would you like."

"What do you have?"

"Well we have 'Eggs, Bacon and Spam', 'Eggs, sausage and Spam', 'Hotcakes and Spam', ... a minute later ... 'Spam, Spam, Spam, Sausage and Spam..."

"Do you have anything without Spa...." Shino stops and thinks to himself Why do I feel like I have heard this conversation before? "Nevermind, I'll have the 'Eggs Sausage and Spam." He turns to Sakura and Damion. "Hey guys, I suggest getting something to eat before we go. We will leave shortly. Hopefully Rayne will show up."
