Pier Solar is a Genesis game that is coming out THIS YEAR. Yes... a new Genesis game.

It's a Traditional Japanese style RPG and if you look on the site, there is a demo that you can play via emulator.

The game is decent. I talk about it a bit in this week's Interactive Distractions episode.

It's an independent group of people putting the game together and it's going to be $35 shipped. It will come with a cart, box, high quality manual, poster and even a Music/Data CD so you can use the Cart and CD at the same time if you have a Sega CD. It will increase the quality of the sound effects and music.

Check the game out. I love that people are doing this kind of stuff so I may buy it.

I would totally check it out if I had a Sega Genesis, but I don't. But way to go, yo! Whoever is behind this needs a job at Naughty Dog or something.
