I get worse at night because the only accident I have had happened at night. I have night vision issues, where when there is headlights, highbeams or not, oncoming I have SERIOUS issues seeing. Link used to have a big issue with it too, and in fact had to wear sunglasses at night to deal with it. Thank goodness he's gotten better about it >.< And with the 18-wheelers... omfg I hate them. In Maine (and throughout the northeast I'm sure) when there is snow and the left lane is just barely plowed on the interstate the trucks go FLYING past and people like me are in the right lane trying not to end up on the side of the road because of the wind >.<
My accident was around a big turn on one of those barely wide enough to be a road roads in the outskirts of Va Beach. Oncoming truck, and the guy was was with at the time yelled and grabbed my arm while I was readjusting because he SAW the ditch there and thought for SURE I was going in. Well, I did. I hit one side of a driveway in the ditch with the passenger's side and then landed on the OTHER side of the ditch on the left side of the car. No flips, it just tilted. And completely screwed up the frame of his car. And messed up my back from being thrown back and forth even though I had my seatbelt on. |

My car accidents have been at the cause of others
rearended; redlight runner; and young druggie "not seeing me"
-----------------------------
But my report for today should be a more entertaining and kinda irritating one...
I'm on my way to work and there's this milk truck a couple cars ahead in my lane. All of a sudden, he starts to slow down...almost stopping in the middle of the road. WTH? Everyone goes around him, including me.
He eventually catches up, to where he's about even with me as I am in a turn lane.
I look over at the guy, thinking he had some kind of trouble that caused all this but no...he's just sitting there finishing off a bag of Funonions (sp?)!!! So yeah, the guy nearly caused a multi-car pileup from his stopping all because he was eating his lunch!!! Just sad like that... |

I had some dumb woman (at least 30-40 years old) who was texting while she was driving off a two lane exit ramp with me right next to her. I damn near got killed because she wasn't paying attention. They need to ban non handsfree cell phones while driving. She could have killed me! |

Its been raining here for 3, maybe 4 days now. It finally started to clear up yesterday, but I wake up today for the worst of the rain we've had so far.
Now keep in mind that its been raining non-stop today...but I actually passed a young jogger on my way to work...jogging in the pouring rain and mud. No umbrella, no raincoat...just shorts, a sweatshirt, and a ballcap.
I'm sorry, but didn't your mother ever teach you not to play out in the rain, or you'll catch a cold?!
I may not be a jogger but you've got to be short a couple braincells to go running in the pouring rain without at least a jacket.. |

reminds me of some of the adventures Mary has put me through training Luke, Elizabeth, and Penny. At least his running was along a road rather than cross country like i do |

Well, Bloodhound training isn't quite the same as some college-aged girl jogging in the rain like its totally normal. |

well, maybe she started out when it was wet and drizzly and said whatever and didn't want to stop just cause of rain. I know people who so get into "the zone" that everything outside of the zone becomes non existant. |
