Well people, there's a videogame challenge going on this weekend sponsored by the local radio station (KTSM) and Viva Kia (among others).
The main games will be a one-on-one Guitar Hero challenge (it doesn't say which version) and a full band Rockband 2 contest (minimum three people). The GH winner gets a new Kia Soul but it doesn't say what the RB2 winners get other than "fantastic prizes".
Regardless, your own resident rabbit...me...has signed up for the RB2 challenge. I don't know what songs or rules but it won't matter. My group (me and my gf's family) are all pretty good and I think we have a really good chance at making at least Top 4. Of course it'll depend on difficulty selection (we all play on Expert tho) and song choice (they do ask you to choose your "preferred song" from a list of six on the signup site) but I feel really good about this. Hopefully the "fantastic prizes" will be U.S. paper currency.

I also found out two more things
1) songs will be from RB1 and RB2 (I guess they'll import the RB1 songs)
2) I was told that the RB winners each get a "big screen TV". I don't know how big is big tho. I hope it's bigger than the 33 inch I have in the bedroom but I doubt it'll beat the 65 incher in the living room. |
