I did a quick little guide on how to get it set up HERE.
It's totally free, and it's totally legit. Cheaters get banned. It runs fine in Windows Vista/Windows 7. I know a lot of people miss the original PSO, so here's your chance to get back into it for free.

I do have a BB character on one of the private servers that people had going. He's level 24 or so. Not sure if he's still there though... I think they trim characters that don't get played after x number of days. |

The site is back but Friz is doing something with the forums. Hopefully they will be back up soon.
Riva, you are likely having rights issues. I had the game running on Vista before, and I'm running it on Windows 7 now. I can help you out with that. |
