UPDATE YO SELVES~!

So it's been a while, huh? What's new in your life? What have you been up to for the past year/s? I've stayed in touch with several of you but have lost track of many more, and that makes me sad.

My Update:
I've been a barista for the past couple of years, working at a chocolate shop and now a specialty coffee/tea shop. I took a comics class at PNCA (pacific northwest college of art) earlier this year and came out of it with new skills, a plan, and a project, but so many crazy things have happened in my personal life that it hasn't gotten off the ground yet. Still living in the same house in Portland; it's been set up as a communal house and we're eventually going to buy it from the landlord and turn it into a co-op. I went and stayed with the fam in England for a bit last year, and it made me terribly "homesick" (would you call that homesick? "I miss my family" sick?) and I was about to move to England but after coming back to Portland I realized that my place was here. I just miss my family a lot.

I know I keep saying this but I AM SO EXCITED that PO is coming back to life!! I missed you all terribly. I hope that we can keep up this momentum and come back together again!

Well the last few years have been pretty normal. I got married to PandaManda back in June 2010. I lost my job at GameStop in October the same year, but eventually got my current job as a gunsmith with my friend's business, which I thoroughly enjoy. We've helped welcome a few nieces and nephews, which I've had a blast being an uncle. Aside from moving down the street to a bigger apartment, not much else has happened for us. We just kind of move at a regular pace, working and hanging out with friends and family.

New in my life. . .
Not too much has changed, I think.
I've moved a couple of times. The latest being a year or two ago. Out to the country! Or whatever it can be deemed as, kind of an up and coming town/countryside.
I'm still in papers, though a bit has changed in that. Through company changes and tacking on another.
I've welcomed more nephews and by the end of October I will be adding two more, plus two nieces. All while being the only remaining single child in my family of five siblings.

Much has changed in the life of the Wayward.

I finished college, and worked at Starbucks for about 5 years after getting let go from Barnes and Nobles. Working there, I had an opportunity to work with the FBI as a Special Agent, but decided (much like scrumms) that my place was here. I ended up getting my Masters in Communications, and I work currently at NBC doing Legal Research with two of their Nationally syndicated Talk shows.

I've been trying to freelance and do video work on the side, as well as maybe try to get into the voice-acting world. In the meanwhile, I'm engaged and focusing on nuptials. Good times.

As for me: I'm still engaged to the love of my life. I got a new nephew who was born in Dec. of last year. He's is the cutest!! *giggles* I no longer work at Party City, but now working at Cracker Barrel and recently looking for something else. I'm hoping to get out of retail. I'm also back in College. I'm going to the University of Phoenix. Besides all that everything else is same old.

A LOT has happened for Marysanna and I.

To start with, for those of you that remember, I was in a band called Code Atom. We had a brilliant run playing some acoustic gigs for our friends here in PO and even opened up for Godsmack at a sold out show at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theater. It was amazing! www.reverbnation.com/codeatom ) After that, I worked for a County run arts facility building sets for local theater company's plays. It was a blast.

Melissa and I have had 3 children: Andrew, Lillyanna, and Mina who are now 8, 6 and 3 respectively. We currently have another on the way which was a complete surprise but is still going to be warmly welcomed! We moved across the country from Georgia to Utah for family support and I now work on the Verizon Wireless project training Customer Service.

I spend my free time working on world design for a roleplaying game that we are cross-developing for tabletop and MMO launch (that's a secret, shhhhh). We too are looking to do a Kickstarter when it's ready.

Well, I've joined and left the clergy in the Orthodox church. Moved around a little. Keep changing jobs. Looking towards heading to college since the whole religion thing didn't pan out.

Uhhmmmm...

Let's see. In the last few years we have bought a house, brought child 2 and 3 into the world (I was pregnant with #2 last time I posted here I think). Bringing child 4 into the world within the next month.

I picked up numerous different fiber arts: knitting, crochet, spinning, dyeing, weaving... And now volunteer as one of the staff for the Harry Potter Knit/Crochet House Cup on Ravelry.com.

My husband has moved from being help desk at one place to help desk at a different place, and about a year ago moved to being a Report Developer at the newer place. Kicking butt with SQL and SSRS. After Child 4 arrives and we restabilize, we will be looking at getting out of this area, possibly looking toward GA.

Let's see, I got married, am working for Apple from home, and have gone off of the deep end politically (anarchy_capitalist). My wife's name is Meaghan and she is amazing. Loving the Apple job.

I've been replaying Skyrim on PC as an Archer. Hoping to eventually pic up the DLC, but not ready to fork over that much money. Currently living in Cartersville, GA
