Greenside Melody

Okay, just to start, if the MIDI doesn't work it's because of the whole "GeoCities" thing((you know where you have to add the "?" or the " " at the end of the link)) OR it could be because when I made this MIDI, I was too "correct" in my typing and capitalized all of the important words. ; D Otherwise, this is the MIDI. lol

This is an old MIDI of mine, so it's going to be bad((um, I think this was two years ago...?)). Anyway, it's kind of my favorite one only because the tune gets caught in your head every now-and-then... Or perhaps that's just me being egotistical and saying "Yah, I'm humming a song I made! lol

Some things could've been different, but a lot of the stuff I can't change because, well, this is a MIDI we're speaking of, and I use a VERY low-rate program that doesn't really have all the really neat effects((glissando, reverb, vibrato...)). Either which, I was going for something very light and "bouncy" ((hence 6/8 time)) and something that was "kind-of" Celtic((...hence... the 6/8 time.. lol)). Of course my skills in music composition are rather low-rate, and the fact that this is an old piece doesn't really help to show any of my progression in the feild... Bag

: D But I think it's a "fun" piece, so... ...ENJOY!
