I too have wondered about this very same question, BWS-1. You are not alone in your confusion. I have formulated what I consider two possibly equal theories about what the heck that is. 1: It's a fish skelleton. It's got a head and some bones on the end for the tail. The smell alone would draw the attention of the other guy. 2: It's a stick figure. It's got arms, a head and legs, and the pure oddity of throwing a stick figure would get the other guy's attention.
There you go. Those are the only two opptions that make sense to me. If you can come up with other ones I'd be facinated to hear them. Personally I like the stick figure idea.

The fish-like stick figure or whatever that is, also looks like a raod-killed dog that has been burnt to the bone, that would explain why it's all black ... might be a big cat too C_c

I'm gonna stick with stick figure. It's obviously a commentary on the evolution of art, see the stick figure being the first stage of art is followed by the smiley as a progessively grblah blah blah blah blahblah blah blahblah blah blah ....blah blahblah blah... and that's why I think that.

looking at the animation we have up there. I would agree that it looks like a stick figure. It could also be a black flower of some sort and the bottom is like the roots. Only say that b/c the head doesn't look like a stick figure head.

Despite what the dootness will tell you, its really a social commentary as to the nature of mankind, and the role of evolution. Sperrit touched on the belief that art evolved from dots and lines into crude stick figure desing, until graduating over the course of several thousand years into what we now refer to as the "smiley era" (roughly 1600BC ).

After that point, the cellular structure within the "smiley" zygote rapidly evolved into conventional "cartoon" art, where it is often used today. The other sub-species of "realistic" art branched off at some point in the last several thousand years, and gained much popularity in italy and europe, but regretably, interest has fallen off in modern times.

There has been some attempt to cross-breed the two species, with a varying degree of success.

In conclusion, i would like you all to marvel at my funny hat.

I'd have to agree with every word of Senkir's statement. It IS a funny hat! Oh, and all that other stuff makes sense too....
Anyway, I'm still gonna say stick figure, cause it might not look like a stick figure head because of image limitations or because the people who designed it didn't think that people would be trying to figure out what the heck it was. Just goes to show you that we here at PO are always the exception to the rule. And I like it that way!
