I have only played FF8, but 9 looked pretty good also. which one do you think is better. And one other question, are the grafics much better in 8 or are they about the same?

FFVII was the best I think. I think it had the most engrossing story. Plus I think that Squall or whatever the hero in 8's name was, was kind of a pussy. |

Yep his name is Squall. I have not played very far in FF8 and was just wondering . And i think squall is to serios i think. What is the story in FF7 |

well, i loved FF7, it was amazing in my opinion. The story is quite confusing, but in a nutshell:
Your a (supposed) elite dude, who gets hired to do a job for a small rebellion, and then he stumbles on this girl, who has a very holy power, and then his past catches up with him, and then you discover that this person from the past was to be destroyed, becuase if not, he would destroy the world, because he summoned a giant meteor down from the sky to destroy the world.
Thats FF7 in a nutshell 
and as for FF8, i said already that im at the end, but i havent played the game in the longest time, so im rusty |

Fav FF of all time: FF4 with, as almost a tie, FF10 after that. And then I'd probably put 7, then 9 and then 8. The only thing that I didn't like about 8 was the leveling system. If you ever even THOUGHT about trying to level up your characters before the end of the game you were almost garenteed to end up in a situation that you just COULD NOT get out of, and that REALLY annoyed me. Besides that, I think it was a great game.

methinks that i should go ahead and play FF8 some more, and i should start over, so that i can really play the game thoroughly...maybe i'll like it more. |

most of the lead character's in Final Fantasy games within the last five years have been pretty whiny. Tidus was especially annoying, actually. ~_~
as for the actual topic of the thread, I have no oppinion, as I haven't played FF8 in quite a while. |
