I'm was thinking about claiming that I'm prejudice against all people. Unfortunately in my law class this semester, we were talking about this whole jury selecting process, and when someone mentioned that, my prof said that it really doesn't work...at least not anymore. I guess they have figured out how to know it for sure, and how to know who's BSing.
Unfortunately, AZ, I made the mistake of registereing to vote back in high school. (I'm registered as Independent) It's funny because that was like 3 years ago, and I have still yet to have the opportunity to vote.
So here's my game plan...normally, I would get all dressed up to go to something like this, but this time, I'm gonna wear ratty jeans or shorts, and probably my Family Values Tour t-shirt, and present myself as some punk kid who doesn't give a crap about anything. And I'm going to bitch in the interview...a lot. I'm gonna turn the wise-ass factor up to full blast, and maybe even sneak my secret devotion to Communism or Anarchy into the discussion. Maybe I'll spike my hair also. It doesn't say anywhere that I have to have a specific type of dress. Hmmmm....maybe I'll wear an actual dress.....hehe.....

besides the fact the i just wouldn't wanna go, i don't like the idea of having someone else's fate placed in my hands. i don't know the person on trial, there's no way you can have all the evidence. plus i'm not confident that i would be completely open. everyone stereotypes subconsciously. i don't owe this country anything. i'm not gonna mess with other people's lives just for the sake of patriotism. |
