it's good! but all the songs, they're cuttin 'em a bit short now, eh? my cd player says the whole cd=36 mins. gettin a bit lazy there, eh? >_> oh well
fave song on the cd=easier to run. |

meteora is the best cd out of all the linkin park cd's....well besides the second 1 with all the remixes. |

Most bands now-a-days CD's are like 30 to 40 minutes long. It's not that they're lazy but it's easier to get yer point across when it's suicide death rock and not acid metal like Iron Butterly. |

Linkin Park, I hate them, I think that they are untalented and that any Rock band that has a f@*!ing DJ should be jettisoned off the planet immediately. They are ruining rock and roll.

Its pretty good, in my opinion. I haven't decided yet if its better than Hybrid Theory, but I'm leaning towards "no". But that's not a bad thing...Hybrid Theory was INCREDIBLE and a nearly flawless album, which is VERY hard to top. Reanimation wasn't a bad album either, and a good listen if you're already an LP fan. I think its the weakest of their albums, however.
And I agree with Demonic that LP isn't really "rock and roll" but New Rock, which has some elements of hip-hop melded into it. It actually makes for a good sound, and although I hate rap to no end, Mike Shinoda's rap is actually pretty good. If you want "rock and roll" (which I'm not putting down because I love it also...) go listen to oldies, classic rock, or the retro rock stuff that's becoming popular today.

im a lp fan but i hated their second album...i was all psyched about it coming out then i was like its the same songs AARRR and i lost all hope until this cd came out....i hope i can get enough money to buy it and to go to AWA lol...^_^ |

you know, spliff, i dont mean to be mean, thats just the type of person i am. but if you are unwilling to like LP cus they have a DJ you are the biggest xenophobe i have ever met who liked rock... think about that one for a second and if it still doesnt make sense then ill rephrase that.
also, meteora=amazing. session is a great song and just proves what having a DJ can do. Nobody's Listening is also great. |
