I first played this game when i started to read 8-bit theatre, and i loved the game immensely, to the point that i played it out because of playing it too much. just wanted to see anyone elses reactions on the game...because it was the game that saved Squaresoft from closing (hence why it was named Final Fantasy)

Honestly Tobias I've never played any of the Final Fantasy games. I have heard from numerous peeps that there excellant games though! |

I do beleive old school FF would be any of the sprite based games while new school is the CG games. The height and perfection of the Sprite based game would have to be FF 3 (6)... again, the glory of Magi-tech armor.

I'm going to have to agree with Khymerion, even though his name makes me giggle (just kidding ~_^).
'old school' in terms of final fantasy, can be considered pre-CG based. |
