Ok, go to the link and read up..This rant pertains to the over-all SARS epedemic as opposed to the article.

Ok, SARS has taken 580 lives world-wide with a whopping 7,600 reported case. WHOOPDEE FREAKIN DOO!

PEOPLE, the world contains over 6 BILLION people Lemme display this for ya so you can grasp the concept.

6,000,000,000 People
0,000,000,580 People Dead
0,000,007,600 People Infected

Now LOOK at those numbers and now CONVERT them to money and TELL me it isn't rediculous. $580 gets ya a TV. $7,600 gets you a big screen TV. $6 Billion gets you EVERY TV station in the world.

While it's cruel of me to convert people to money you haveta stop and think...580 people is NOT a world emergency. Hell, in the 40's Hitler killing 60,000 jewish citizens wasn't enough to mobilize America to stop him...We SOLD him the bullets to kill them for Crimeny's sake. But now 580 people die and EVERY day on the news I haveta listen to the stupid updates on the "Rising Death Tolls" for SARS victims? More people died in the Twin Towers and we only saw that on the air for a month. SARS is working on its 3rd plus month.

While I'm sure the people lost family and friends to SARS are upset you haveta realize it's a virus SIMILAR to Pneumonia. How is Pneumonia caught? Usually by spending a LOT of time in damp cold conditions. Like maybe a rice patty in February?!

It's just upsetting to me for some reason that SO much attention gets thrown on something that is relatively harmless. And now Americans are going stir crazy waiting for the next SARS victim instead of worrying about the garbage they're shoveling into their childrens mouthes that is making them unhealthy and hence making them TARGETS for SARS.

No REAL point to this rant cept I want News stations to shut up...Granted putting up this article just means it's gonna be publicised over PO...hehehe

Well of course thats what i have been saying for some time, The flu killes 36,000 a year in the US. So why arnt people scared of that?

i dont really watch tv because they lie. Most things on the tv having to do with the gov or anything relating to a disease is almost always blow out of proportion. Even though now i sound like those crazy people that are like the government is out to get us...I'm not really like that i just dislike the government very much. But anyays back to the topic im getting tired of that crap too..pardon my french...

My friend Cody who is going to be a new member of PO LOL!, her mom works at an alergist in Westport Connecticut and they have had multiple cases of Sars there, SO both Cody, I and her mom are worried she get infected! It is a contagioyus disease right? Laugh

yeah, what i liked best was the south park episode with sars. Kyle my son, now that i have contracted sars there is only a 95% chance i will live. its really not that bad, and its being publicized everywhere, its annoying. ever notice how many diseases come out of that area of the world???

Hey Guys , I got some new info....Its supposed to jack up your lungs , most of the time it will stop your heart but its kinda weird that their not doing to many test on it I mean come on now if thousands of people are dying why not do as many tests a day as you can

Eh...Like I said not ENOUGH people are dying from it.

1 death= yield sign
3 deaths= Stop sign
7 deaths = traffic light

Pretty cool system eh?

Also no celebrity has SARS yet...Just poor or run of the mill people. Once someone like Brad Pitt (Now that he's no longer playing homoerotic roles like in Interview with a Dumbass) or Leo Dicraphead (Still a lil' biyatch!) gets it then they may try to find a cure.

there is a cure. its called hong kong tightening their boarders so not every third world malnourished dumbass with a heart that still pumps at least once a year cant get in.
