I'll be posting a sprite FAQ here soon. First of all I want the spriters here to ask some questions so I know what to answer.

[Edit: Try using that one Octopus from FF3 (America style) and use his tentacles and paint em black then attach them to some other char.]

That's what I was thinking, Az, but on your PO it's not like tendrils of smoke anymore, it's more like one big poofy thing...

Yeah, Doot was supposed to fix that but apparently a support artist decided against it so now itsa cloud...Maybe you can get a sprite from the DBZ legend of the Super Saiyan from Super Famicom and take goku's flying nimbus and edit it up.

Oh...Then on that note you can get a FF6 background from atop a mountain that features clouds then umm use one of those.

Didn't realize you were talkin about FF6 sprites. I don't really mess with those. Too small. ^_^;
