Ok...soo after playing an RPG friend(s) made, hint hint Nog ^_^, I was like, "Hey cool. I want to make one!" And so I'm off on my journey to find the program. Well I FIND a program alright. RPG Maker 2003. The newest version...
I'm like, "Hey this is cool!" So I open up the help section...
AND IT'S ALL IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE THINGY!!
And so I'm clueless...
If anyone can find the program, like 2000 or something, that I can download, PLEASE POST IT!! Or at least help me if you have the program or such. T-T

hey ive used that program before and i never have liked it... an easier one to use and that is just about as powerfull is called "rpgtoolkit" which can be found at rpgtoolkit.com... i use this one when i make games and stuff. And it helps too if you can make midi (song files) for the games to.. using stuff like cakewalk pro... great stuff anyhow.. Hope you enjoy! |

Rpg Maker 2003, I'd doubt you could find anything in enlilish for that. Ascii is really crackin down so somebody doesn't leak it without paying for it.
I'd just you RM2K. It's still pretty easy to use. You do have to experiment and read tutorials and such, but that's how i got my game goin, and i'm still working with it.
I never heard of rpgtoolkit, but it sounds like it might be worth a look too. |

the cool thing about 2003, though, is that you can do side-view battles much easier than in the earlier versions. o.o
i had this thing going for a while with some friends, but we never did finish up our project. |
