OK...#1: "New AND Improved"

How the hell can something be New AND Improved?!!
HUH?!!
I mean if it's improved there had to be something to improve on and there was obviously something sub-par about the previous one(s) hence the need for improvement. But if there was a "previous one(s)" then it's obviously NOT VERY NEW NOW IS IT?!!

Anyways, Shado, I figure that if it's new, it's a new version, which doesn't necessarily mean that it's improved, only that it's different from the last version. You have to remember that the marketing reps are trying to appeal to the normal people.

I believe that quote applies completely to the average modern man/woman/thing, which means that, while the marketing companies can get away with some things they probably couldn't in a different era, they also have to speak as though they were talking at (not to) five-year-olds.

That concludes my daily cynisism.

Yeah and you know when you buy a magazine and it comes with like a CD or a video or something and it says "FREE CD!" but it costs like £5? ($8 ish) THAT AIN'T FREE. You're paying for that CD, right there, and about 500% markup too. IT ISN'T FREE! DON'T BE FOOLED! How can it be free if you're paying to obtain it? eh? IF IT'S SO FREE, WHY NOT JUST RIP IT OFF THE MAGAZINE AND TAKE IT OUT OF THE STORE!?

yea i remember back when i used to get happy,meals as a lil kid, they said "free toy!" well if its free gimme the dumb toy so i dont hafta buy the stupid awful garbage rancid precooked burger "happy" meals (im talkin to j00 mcDonalds). and another thing why are they called happy meals? if anything they should be called sad meals becuz when u break the toy 3 minutes after playing with it you will be sad thus the advertising works.

its not really funk... its really... fink. whats fink? i have no idea, but i have now changed 2 letters from the original word. ever wonder what would happen if you found out what vowels go in the word YHWH? would you burst into flames?
