Well, if your into werewolves and vampires, you may want to look into some of white-wolf's novels. They're usually pretty dark and disturbing which is always fun Laugh

Umm, my friend suggested the Anita Blake series, I havn't read them myself, but supposedly they're good.

I'm a big fan of R.A. Salvatore's writing personally. Especially the Dark Elf Trilogy, featuring everyone's favorite drow, Drizzt! Uhh... Hm.. hm.. That is all I can name off hand, *points to the time*.. I've lost enough sleep as it is ^_^

Happy reading.

A very VERY good book that will hit on almost everything it sounds like you like is "Once" by Graham Masterson (English Author) EXCELLENT READ! Also good, and somewhat related is "Coldheart Canyon" by Clive Barker.

*edit I dont know how I fucked this up, but it might have something to do with reading 20,000 pages since Christmas :anime: but, the book "Once" isn't by Masterson, it's by James Herbert (also an English author)

Classic stuff, admittedly. Take a whack at Raymond E. Feist's series (Riftwar Saga, Mara of the Acoma and her set, the newer ones...) if you want good magic and war. Although not much in the way of were's or vampires... Perhaps Anne Rice would be worth taking a look at for that sort of thing?

Motts, I so love you for Pimping Drizzt. He rocks so bad.

Umm...as far as fantasy novels, I'd suggest The Guardians of the Flame series, the Wheel of Time series, the Prydain Chronicles, the Blue Moon Rising series (I have no idea the series title, but at least the first book rocked) and umm...*scratches head* oh yes. Kristen Britain's Green Rider (second book sucks from what I gather) and Jane Lindskold's "Through Wolf's Eyes" which has a sequel I've yet to read.

I don't know anything about Vampire or Werewolf ones, though. XD I've never been into those really myself, though I hear good things about Anita Blake, and Anne Rice.
