Well, my comp has decided to go EXTRA slow on me, and it is driving me nutso, becuase as i type this, i have to wait 10 seconds for the text to actually write itself out on the screen. Also, I scroll extra slowly. I was wondering if anyone knows how to remedy this problem, because if this keeps on goin, im gonna give this dame comp a system restore and kick this problem the old fashioned way.

trying ctrl+alt+del to bring up your systray/task list denpending on what version for windows you have, and clear out something of the extra processes running in the background. |

are you on dial up? that alone could be the problem. when my comp is slow (and i frequently deal with that problem) i use my adaware 6.0 to check for spyware and pop up stuff since i have cable and many people surf the net with my comp - it tells you whats installed and it can delete it off ur system. if that doesnt work i clean off files and programs i havent touched since install and dont plan on using ever and then defrag overnight. my bf is one of those comp geeks. if that doesnt work, explain the problem more thouroughly and I'll see if he can help. |
